The Concert was named "We Give Thanks to You, O Lord", in commemoration of the Thanksgiving Holiday.
What thrilled me most about our concert is that my husband came to see it. We left the kids with a babysitter (they are way too disruptive for something like this), and he came to hear me sing. I was so happy. My husband doesn't attend church with us (he's not Orthodox or Christian, but is very supportive), so it was so wonderful to see him sitting in the audience. :)
What did we sing? I would say it was quite a variety, but it was all liturgical music. Next to each section, I've put in my favorite song we sang. We sang much more than this, and it was beautiful, despite the fact that half the choir was getting over a cold and the other half was just catching one. :)
**I hope, with the blessing of our priest and matushka, to have either an audio or video clip of a portion of the concert to post here soon.**

Sounds absolutely wonderful.
And thank you for the comments on my blog; greatly valued and appreciated.
I hope you will be able to share the audio as some of my favorites are on your list.
p.s. this blog is so richly gorgeous! I didn't think your rose (?) design could be topped. Do your wrapped Christmas gifts look this good? :)
I wish I could take credit for the design. I found the background on Cutest Blog on the Block, and I just changed the text colors to match it.
I just have good taste is all.
And no, I can't wrap presents for the life of me! They always look ridiculous. My husband is much better in that department than I am. LOL
